the only thing that thaksin did for the poor was giving them a 30 baht health scheme which ruined a lot of private doctors and forced them to move from the provinces back to bkk to work for the government in order to make money. this resulted in a lack of qualified doctors in certain areas. he also paid everyone who showed up at the riots 500 baht/day. that's why they love him. stupid and uneducated red shirts. fuck them, they can all go to hell. how could u want a criminal as head of a country?

thaksin is a fucking hi-so criminal and deserves to be executed in my opinion. he personally ordered the extrajudicial killings of more than 2,500 people in his so-called war against drugs a few years back. he's also a megalomaniac who thought he'll fucking get away with everything. plus he's greedy and power hungry f..... who had the chance to take his money and fuck off, but he couldn't let it go, and in the end he lost it all. well deserved!!!!!

This Russian "expert" on Thai affairs describes the Abhisit government as appointed. It was not. It came from the same elections that produced the Samak and Somchai governments. The Newin faction changed sides because Newin was p*ssed off with Somchai's wife, who is Thaksin's sister. That is a normal parliamentary process under the constitution. Thaksin must be sad that the army didn't massacre the red shirts and make him look like a hero, as was no doubt his plan.
