Doc can't shoot

Just me trying to play Marine on a M240 machine gun. I couldn't see the tiny target so the Marines are scraming "Hit it!" "Shoot it!" and laughing at me. I save lives, not take em. haha I am a Navy Hospital Corpsman.

Shit I retired already. I know the difference between wounding and killing. If you try to take my life, I will take yours. nuff said. I just refused to be issued an M-16. Once you get issued an M-16 as an HM, you are now a combatant and ALL geneva convention protection goes bye bye.

We took the red cross off for a good reason. Our life expectancy was 3 seconds thanks to that TARGET.

I really would advise 8404 HM's to obtain 8427. Think you have to be an E5? The course really makes you prepared for the FMF & covers: Basic Reconnaissance School MOS (0321) (9 weeks) Marine Combatant Dive School (7 weeks) Amphibious Reconnaissance Course (3 weeks) US Army Special Operations Combatant Medic course (24 weeks) US Army Basic Airborne School (3 weeks). I just want you to be prepared having great traing!

@GTMustangRider I never had to pull anything in two years in country- except a brother into a fox hole. If I had to pull a 9 mill back then- I was already considered dead. Yes, it sucks to be an 8404 Hospital Corpsman who MUST put his TRUST in that Marine! Thats just the law- if you violate it, then face NJP and ZERO veteran benefits "If You Come Home"- Thats IF!! 8404=TRUST.... Better get that one down!

@combatswimmer1 ,, it sucks... I know a nice man a trauma surgeon who had to treat those bast ards who were shooting at us guys! That is what a 8404 USN Naval Hospital Corpsman job is friend! No 8404 is a "combat" anything- ALL 8404's are humanitarians!!!! Thats the US Law and the UCMJ.. Being an 8404 really sucks if you do not TRUST that Marine..!!!!

If you want to violate your humaniterian position- go become a seal! SO-5392 Naval Special Warfare Medic - They are like Rangers and are considered by OUR Rules Combattants... Keerp in mind the training- 24 wks BUDS 28 wks SQT and if a Corpsman another 26 wks.. Otherwise stay an 8404 and trust that Marine!

@cds119 ,, srry Doc.. No 8404 is allowed to carry any weapon (openly) read between my lines! Gen Gray was a good CMC- he spoke at my young marines 'toy for tots' at a MCL meeting! I know for a fact- he would tyell you carrying anything other then a 45 for self defense violates your humanitarian status. He nor I care that the enemy does not honor such- we do and I did.. BTW, I was with heavy weapons 1/5. I qualed with 5o cals, and dragons. I honor my 8404 regulation.

@combatswimmer1 , I agree! Hey, MTC? WHATS THE ACRONYM stand for? Thinking maybe Marine Combat Training? That will be the fourth time the schools name has changed! I am old- lol! I agree, those dirt bags wont fight by our rules- they never have! They did not in my day as well. All I was saying- we have higher standards (they know it)- we should live by them (at least in public).. lol Just glad you and your friends can vote at age 18- I already had two years in before I could vote..

@DOCCAREY I'm not talking about when they're injured or captured. I'm talking about when they're shooting at Marines. You lost me after that though lol. All I'm insinuating is that jihadists don't give a flying fuck about rules of warfare. They use dirty hit and run tactics designed for guerrillas fighting overwhelming odds, which include targeting officers and medics. Can't really blame them, I'd do the same in their positions. For the record all Marines attend MCT not SOI.
