Also, my wife is a devote Chevy lady and she picked the 04 truck. I guess thats what I get for letting a Chevy girl pick me out a FORD truck. It was gray affectionately known to me and her as LEMON GRAY!

Yeah I had a 2004 Edge Extended cab with the 4.0 Automatic in it and it was a piece of SHIT! I am a devote FORD man and have had 5 Rangers 2 F-150's and a 71 Mustang and that 04 was the worst truck I ever got! Valves pinged in the motor. Took it back 3 times and they couldnt fix it. Was going to claim the lemon law on them and didnt because I didnt think I would win. Transmission also suked in them trucks. Ford went to pot that year for the Ranger. I miss my 94 4.0L extended cab Ranger!

I have always been a Ford guy but never really looked into the Ranger because I never cared too much for it but this honestly makes me reconsider the Ranger.

@thewhoissuperb24 there stopping the 4.0 in the mustang and putting in a 3.6 with over 300hp i beleive its either a 3.6 or 3.7 i know that much,,, then there bringing back the 5.0 it will be DOHC 32 valve, with 426hp...

The OHV motor makes 225 ft lbs...not 200.

guy with the 96 ranger. you have 160 hp and 200 ft lbs with 373's. he has 207 hp with 238 ft lbs with 410's
