Designer Paris Hilton Sends Special Message to Malaysians
KUALA LUMPUR, 24TH SEPTEMBER 2010: Today, Paris Hilton Handbags presented the Fall|Winter 2010 collection of accessories designed by Paris Hilton with a fashion show and cocktail at Pavilion Mall, located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The event was part of the original schedule of the much anticipated Paris Hilton Handbags Asian Tour in which designer Paris Hilton would visit Kuala Lumpur to unveil her latest proposal of accessible luxury goods and meet the Malaysian press. Earlier this week, Paris Hilton cancelled all personal appearances and press sessions due to reasons of force majeure.
"I am really sorry I had to cancel my trip to Asia; we have been planning this for a really long time" said an apologetic yet proud Paris Hilton in a special message recorded at her home for all Malaysians, who she believes are "sophisticated and have great taste". And then added: "I can't wait to visit Malaysia for the first time and meet all my fans".
As models walked down the runway wearing strictly black, sexy and elegant outfits; a mix of glamour, sport and rock and roll inspired handbags took over Pavilion Mall and twitter in real time. A success in both actual and virtual venue, it was closed with a good bye message from designer Paris Hilton and a round of applause.
After Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; the Paris Hilton Handbags Asian Tour will visit Jakarta, Indonesia for another series of events including the Grand Opening of the brand's latest store in the Indonesian capital.
