Video of a game called "Protector" (a clone of 'Defender') released by homebrew hobbyist Alex Herbert in 2003 for the 1983 Vectrex system. Available for $11.50 from www.vectrexcarts.com Alex Herberts site can be seen at www.herbs64.com/
Apologies in advance for the quality of my webcam ;-)
The size of the screen makes this one hard looking Defender clone.

@JIM4741return
You need the right type of EPROM and a device to record the image to it.

@JIM4741return Have you tried "Spike's Big Vectrex Page"? Google it. It's got a lot of documentation and tutorials on Vectrex homebrewing, though you will need to learn 6809 assembly to be able to put it to use.

@JIM4741return If you type "Vectrex homebrew tutorial" into google it'll come up with numerous resources.

I have this game for my vectrex and it's one of the best games in the library! There is also a space invaders clone that looks exactly like the arcade, it's done with a raster style on a vector monitor and it really looks good. I had the original limited edition version, but I sold it during a hard time. I still have the non-limited version though. Great game... Even saves the high score with a non-volatile ram.
