interesting in my home recepe we grate the onion and cook it with a little oil along with the other spices and then add it to the mashed potato. also turmeric will give a nice uniform colour to it.

which potatoes do you use for paranthas, tikkis, vadas etc. I don't like the texture of any potatoes here in the USA
