I don't know if 'boottydoctor' (proctologist) is racist; but she is 'ignorant'. The brand name Yamaha, is Japanese - similar to Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki... It stands to reason they would be made in Japan.

Booty doctor it's great that you bought a US kit I don't know what company you bought from but most, " US Custom Drum Companies, " use 1 shell mfg. SJC, Spaun, OCDP, Battlefield, Stauffer, Pork Pie, etc all use the same shells made in the US. But the hardware is all made in china or overseas. I understand what you're getting at but to truly buy or build a kit made in the US would be tough.

Glad I bought a kit which was made in USA than buying some crap over seas. Glad you Yamaha players are keeping the Japs working and having the Americans sit at home and draw unemployment. Fucked up world

aw yes, this un-tuned snare shell with no snare "will do nicely" (now i'll steal it).
