I don't know why, but that 335 calls to me. First of all, I'm a punker (at heart) second of all, I have always been in to strats and teles, and never even had a fat strat or a tele with hotrails. I have always used alder/ash/basswood/agathis and always single coils. Love how a Les Paul feels, but I am not in to the sound. Never played Jazz, but when I play blues, it is likely on a tele. So why is it that the 335s (even copies) appeal to me on such a profound level? I want one! Oh, and a KA too.
