A Superior Court Judge called Prop B a "sledgehammer" that "violates First Amendment rights."
The facts: Prop B is a fatally-flawed measure that unfairly doubles the cost of children's health care for over 30,000 public employees including teachers, nurses, firefighters, custodians and gardeners - regardless of their ability to pay. And that's just the beginning of the problems with Proposition B.

"it is in fact a huge increase in health care costs that forces employees to pay out of pocket for their family's health care coverage.

But public employees already took a $250 million hit in wage concessions this year; they have taken pay cuts totaling three quarters of a billion dollars over the last decade, according to campaign officials."

  • @LiberalismDisorder lets cut the 85K that local artist get for every new building or remodel the city does. lets cut the 65k for city employees who want a sex change, lets cut all charitible funding. lets cut the homeless out all together. let's cut all funding for illegal immigrants in schools, hospitals and any other monies SF gives to them. All social programs, lets get rid of them! We are in a state of emergency right? So if Police and fire get cut, so do MUNI and all the other leaches!

  • The city workers may be human, but so is the taxpayer that averages less than half what the city worker makes, with little to no pension, for doing the same amount of work. The taxpayer is who pays that City Workers salary - AND pension.

There will come a time where the money runs out. Oh look, I think it already did years ago.

  • That songs in my head....

  • The video itself should be more informative instead of just including everything in the video description. As is, it looks like the creator tried too hard to make it look cool so it would standout.

  • irritating music:

no no no no no no vote no on proposition B (repeat 10+times)
