this one was awake in the daytime because he is blind and therefore has no concept of night and day. He just wandered about looking for food when he was hungry. He gradually realised that if he could hear me then he would be able to get a nice treat. Hedgehogs should be asleep during the day and if you see one during daylight hours then there is something wrong with it. Sometimes they are just hungry.
