The T-1 with out the mount is 105g or 3.6oz, if you got the LaRue Tactical (LR751) mount, it provides absolute cowitness with your BUIS & isn't in that brick shape, it actually weighs a lot less because it's not as tall & is more of a "T" shape instead of a box you should google it, if you want cowitness your only getting 1/3 cowitness with BUIS.

the coating on the lense is different the out side is the same.
-
@sr15dude how do you know this?
-
is it worth the money
-
@provenFATAL The actual coating on the unit, not the lens, is made of hard anodizing, while the h1 is just regular anodizing. The hard anodizing on the T1 makes it much more resistant to scratches and wear. I have also read somewhere that the T1 is submersible a bit deeper than the h1's.

@provenFATAL Sorry for the delay. I heard some tales about not lining up properly with the 3x, but it could be just a mismatch. Yes! Larue mounts are every worth the penny they rape you out of. Hold zero. Ergoomic. Just plain well-designed.

@provenFATAL gunboy90210LMNO P P is an abused child with a penchant for passive-aggressiveness. Pay no mind to it.

@99STM Nothing wrong with EOTECHS at all I love them too and they will not let you down.
-
Wish I had 600 bucks to drop on this optic for my build. I will have to settle for an EOtech.
-
@famousPhotog That is a good point and yea I have been leaving the bikini covers off lately
-

-
Great info FATAL. thanx a bunch
-
@gunnaboy70217 its better to have a feature and not need it, then need it and not have it
-
@mizu345 no not an a aimpoint but i do own 3 eotechs, the point of my comment was why pay the EXTRA money for the t-1 when you can get the h-1 cheaper? it looks the same , mounts the same, and performs the same (minus the night vision). but hey who am i to tell some 1 how to spent there money..if ignorance is bliss , you two shmucks must be pretty happy.
I like it.

The T1s coating is much tougher than the H1s, you are not just paying for the NV compatability.

@sr15dude Are you talking about the unit coating or the lens coating? Either way I didnt know that its pretty cool info thanks.

@provenFATAL : Hello. Does this, or did yours, come with a kill flash? If so, did yours? Also, would the 3x magnifier fit with it in alignment, or do you know if it does? I like the lightness facyor when choosing optics.

@KJOSCOT If your talking about the fish net looking cover that goes over the front then it didnt come with one. It does have the anti-glare coating on the front lens though. Yes I believe almost any 3x will work with this optic as long as you get the right mount for it, ie I got the larue lt 660 mount so I would stick with the larue 3x mount.

Nice scope. Its a shame the base looks to be heavier & bulkier than the scope itself...
mayito714 1 year ago
@mayito714 Yes it is heavier than the optic, I think the micro on weighs 7 oz or some thing like that. I havent weighed the mount but just guessing by holding it in hand I would thing it weighs approximately 11-13 oz.. This is going to be your standard set up with this optic and the Larue mount. As far as being bulikier its really not noticable b/c when looking down range the mount is acctually slimmer than the optic.
