Thank you for the help. I will have to order a 1/2 drive 35mm the biggest I have is a 32mm. I have just pulled the subframe along with the transmission and I just opened the case. Everything is very clean and fluid is bright red...However, my torque converter bearings move over 1/2 inch in any direction. I think I found my problem but will still do a complete tear down and replace all of the soft parts. Thank you for these super helpful videos. Our trannys are very similar.

Dude, that was awesome. Do you also rebuild the B7XA Honda transaxle?

How did you keep the whole assembly from rotating while you where removing the hub nuts? It seems that the entire thing would rotate if not arrested properly. I am going through the same thing and would really like to know. My code is BAYA/MAYA for a 04 accord. Thanks

@FLFelon you need to unstake the nuts first, then use a 1/2 in impact gun and a 35mm socket, if the gears still move use shop rags or towels and jam it in between the gears to lock then from moving.

Thank you sir for posting these videos, it gives me a good idea of what I'm in for. Also I wanted to know if it would be possible to tell me where you source your replacement parts for overhauling these transmissions? Do you get everything from Honda or do you order a "Master Kit" from an aftermarket supplier? I used to work at a Honda dealer myself but we always would just install a reman. unit when we had an auto with a shifting problem. I've overhauled plenty of manual units, now for at's??ah
