Located on Pembroke Street, Toronto - this Hostel is a real Hotel California. You can check out the next day but there's always a nightmare that's going to be attached to you for the rest of your life.
You can find this Hostel on http://www.hostelworld.com - but seriously, DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOSTEL. It's an absolute mess!
Don't even get me started on all the crazy things that go one in this place - just read about it on HostelWorld and see for yourself.

I used to live at 95 Pembroke. Tracy and Howard are scammers! They ask for deposits on keys etc which they will not give receipts for. SLUMLORDS!

Hostels are not Canada what they are in europe. Here they are where we put homeless people and other downtrodden. Welfare people are often put up in hostels. Canada is not a first world nation like we would have you believe.

Ha, ha. Partly true, but also unfair because the renovations were obviously underway when this was taken.
Definitely not your 5 star establishment - but it's a "hostel" and it's a cheap place to stay. You get what you pay for.
Raccoons? This is Canada. Raccoons are everywhere in downtown Toronto. Did they actually come in the building? As for "rates" (sic), that would be another matter.
I'm not defending the place, but at least try to be fair and objective.

Hello Jaivenmsn; I used to renovate buildings on Pembroke about 15 years ago. I saw about a dozen fire code violations on your clip here.
It is to bad there is no way to get this clip to that piece of shit mayor of ours.

this is the worst hostel ever. thanks for the movie, i'm in this hostel right now, there are racoons in the computer room, rates in my backpack in the night and the toilet in my room didn't worked for one week, nobody cleans the rooms or the floor, just if anybody leaves a room. the manager is a racist, he hates europeans and is really unfriendly.
never go in this hostel, you can check in but you'll never check out!!!! trust me.
