Wow! I still get chills whenever I hear this. I agree that Kelly Clarkson is the best thing to come out of American Idol. I'd like to see her do entire albums with this type of song in them.

Very good and Kelly has an amazing voice, but this will always be performed best by the original artist Patty. However this isn't what we should talk about, we should just listen to the performance and not argue ove who has done it better....

I have never heard anyone come close to Kelly's version...the whole song seems to be in the sweet spot of her voice. I love Patty Griffin but this is Kelly Clarkson's song now.
