why all the negativity?? I have been a loyal fan of his since he was on SOAP! I read his ,about 20 years ago... and his recent one, his best memory of his father who died when he was a kid was taking him to the yankees game, he would have been a ball player if the height requirement wasnt what it was.
I hope hes right about dreams coming true because one of mine is to meet Billy, he inspired me, he got to do this because he is famous, true... but I saw that little kid behind his eyes.

Wow, the haters are amazing. While the average joe wouldn't get the chance, BC got a chance as he'd wanted to do this for a very long time. This doesn't tarnish the image of baseball, this doesn't say anything other than the NYY doing something nice for a big fan. I hope the haters have someone out there to rain on their parade when they finally get to do something they long to do.

Good for Billy Crysta. I am a phillies fan but honestly, I find nothing wrong with the yankees and MLB giving him this opportunity. It is sad that people have to find something bad in everything. I think it's cool that he had the opportunity and I hope he had fun. Billy seems like a good guy and that's rare in the celebrity world...Good for him and it's a nice gesture from the Yankee organization.
