Probably someone else has already said this, but I'm not going to sift through the comments. Honestly, I had very little trouble learning this game once we got going. The symbology is a pain in the neck, but doable if you're fine with referencing a lot at first. I really believe that having played Puerto Rico before DEFINITELY opened up my mind to comparison, and made it easier to learn ("Oh! So, producing is like craftsman, develop is like building, settle is like... settler!") I love it!

I played like 400 games of Race and still playing it .. I have the 2 expensions .. this game is awesome.

I LOVE this game too. And not to be a jerk, but WHY was the girl in this video? I was really excited to hear what she had to say, and then end credits.

My favorite game period. It is a game that I am always learning something. It is even fun when I lose. Its the perfect depth for me. The only issue is my son and wife will never touch this game thinking this is to complex.
Personally learning the game is fairly steep but once someone learns it they "get it." It takes me 10 minutes to get someone playing and 2 games till they are challenging. The tutorial videos go about it in a very detailed and complex way without giving a good overall view
