Honda accord timing belt noise

UPDATE.-Timing belt has been loosend however noise still remains-------ive had my timing belt replaced and now it seems to be making this strange sort of noise around 1000rpm as you can see, do YOU think this is a serious problem? leave us a comment and tell us what you think

@spleechmaster ye the cars running really good, its done about 50,000kms more since this video...ive had mechanics try fix the noise many times but theyve never diagnosed it properly, it still does it. It hasnt effected the car at all so i just live it

Your timing is OFF it wasnt set right-ALL DATA will tell you STEP BY STEP. Is it an F22? I just did mine. SOunds like you dont have the balance shaft belt on right-aka the balance shaft has to be rotated and locked into place thru a little hole. its a PITA but this sounds like your noise problem-its almost a sort of humming yes?

I had the exact same sound on my v6 accord. I didn't get it fixed in time though because I had no idea what it was. I was driving casually on the highway one day and boom, one of the spark plugs blew out of the head. You should get this checked out before you get a huge bill. Most likely it's your valves
