  • @CelticTiger7 Man, read Robert Mckee's excellent book, he is neither biased towards Ireland or otherwise, I think you need to read a little bit more on history before you start spewing inaccuracies, both Connolly and Larkin (both from Edinburgh and Liverpool) where neither born in Ireland but are considered great Irishmen, De Valera on the other hand was born in New York and was a complte gobshite, so there you go.

  • The Southern US Irish soldiers were spent(five years fighting a force 5x your number will do that), and the South was razed and needed rebuilding, so they weren't as eager as the Northern Soldiers to repeat that process in Ireland.

  • @CelticTiger7 Of course, because the Irish educational system is completely neutral and isn't one sided at all. Give me a break.

  • @CelticTiger7

You are an idiot! Just because he has an English accent doesn't make his points invalid? What exactly did he get wrong?

And I suspect he has more knowledge about Ireland than you, by a long way!

  • This vile person masquerades as a historian. He is nothing more than a racist anti-Irish bigot. A true historian views history and relays that to others from a neutral perspective. Disgusting & rather pathetic. How this person was ever allowed to make such a program is beyond me.
