Twin Towers Design Controversy in South Korea

You don't accidentally create a design like that. In a world where the twin towers hadn't been crashed that design would look fucking ridiculous and it still does. This was influenced by something and if not the twin towers, then what?

Sorry but I only saw the "9/11" context after you mentioned it, I'm not American, but remember watching 9/11 while it was happening on the news on TV, and we got a holiday from school because of it since there were some Americans in my school too.

But honestly, to any non-American, 9/11 is not the first thing that pops up in their head after seeing the towers.

As for the fact that it resembles the attacks on 9/11... So what? Is 9/11 such a taboo that people are in constant fear of even mentioning it? Isn't that fear, exactly the purpose of the attacks? Being afraid of a building design 10 years after the fact seems rather inappropriate.
