@JesusisYHWH1, this is the problem with the way contemporary christians read the bible - you pick out verses and treat them in isolation, you missunderstand what is being said because you do not follow the flow of the argument within which the verse is located.

Paul argues as follows:

Romans 1:18 - 32, the guilt of the gentile

Romans 2:1 - 16, the guilt of the non observant jew

Romans 2:17 - 29, the guilt of the observant jew

Your verse means EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of what you think it does.

For Israel to rebuild the Temple would be a blasphemous act against the God who is provided the only sacrifice for sin that is sufficient to cleanse his children for entrance into his holy presence. Both Jew and Gentile are called out to be believers in the one true and living God we know him through the only begotten son that is Jesus Christ our Lord. we are the temple. We are his church. we present our lives as living sacrifices we present to God through obedience to his holy Word.

Jesus Christ is the complete fulfillment. There aren't "two covenants existing simultaneously," (notice how salvation bifurcates like a forked tongue under dispensationalism.) Either He was who he said he was, or He was not. Either you accept Him or you reject Him. It's right there in the Paul's letters--circumcision, sacrifice, not even The Law is enough to save you. And: Why don't Jews sacrifice to an ark of any sort anymore? It was taken away for a reason. Oh, they get fired about that.
