@SeraphimSquadron You're missing the point. Nothing was created by nothing or anyone else for that matter. The most sensible explanation is that matter has always existed. It's very human to try to put a deep emotional meaning into everything, but it doesn't make it true. There's is nothing logical about a specific humanistic God existing, because who created this "Perfect God" with emotions then? What? A perfect being can exist without a creator? Then so can we.

@tidouble1 One automatically assumes someone Godless is also loveless because no one is your friend unless they can be your comrade (i.e. God is the whipmaster of the slaves under the 'basic yoke one wears' (the Christian viewpoint on the world) ... the whipmaster tells us to love our friends, and one cannot "logically" befriend one who is not 'equally yoked' with them in a basic way.)

Maybe its YOU 'calling "hate" "love."' How should sheep know?

There IS nothing logical! thanks be to Dusty If the world were ruled by Logic, I wouldn't be above ground & vertical. True, a lot of 'Logic' went into the medicine, equipment & therapy that saved my life; but there's no way my life is worth all the pain I went through to keep it!

Now I agree that God's not some Sky-Daddy CEO; God is more like 'the use of everything for the good of every person who can use it'
