While i think the wars in general are wrong and immoral, I do love to see the original footage, not some Hollywood made crap..

As afar as Germany is concern we all know if Russian weather was somewhat the same as in the Germany, Russians would been speaking German now.. Any country in Europe had no chance against German Military 1on1.. Thank GOD they didn't build the atomic bomb sooner otherwise youtube would have been youtube.de now :)...

@Bugzzbunny- there was way more soviet deaths, the Russians died the most in world war 2 straight up, I just got off that subject in history. I don't remember the numbers exactly but all I can say is the Germans killed alot more russians

Germany could never beat Russia in its entirety. Stalin had 29 million basic trained civilians (cannon fodder) who could be conscripted into regular army. Faced with certain death under Nazi occupation they would willingly fight. 6 Months after the invasion of Russia there were already 100,000 partisans operating behind German lines.

@TheTankist199204 the problem with all those nations was thier supply lines....they were so far from the home front supplys couldnt travel where they were needed before being ambushed. you would need several nations to invade russia and excellent logistics to conquer it.

Can you imagine that, on average, for every day of the war, over eleven thousand soldiers were killed every single day.

As for civilians, there were twice as many deaths. Assuming that most civilians died after the first year of the war in Europe, there were about twenty five thousand deaths each and every day.

War is a terrible phenomenon, as you can see in these numbers and the video. Yet, I will join the military, so I can at least do my best to keep civilians away from the violence.

@BugzzBunny I don't really want to enter any argument here except to say that both the Nazi & Stalinist regimes were totalitarian and selectively genocidal, but I just can't stand reading that lame excuse "The Victors write History" again. Anyone can & does write history, the point is whether you choose to believe it or not, and that should depend on several factors including objectivity and evidence -. no bias or fixed positions. There is loads of history recording both Nazi & Stalinist terror.
