Fender Jazz Bass MIM - (SOUND DEMO)

This is a bit of a sound demo of the Fender Jazz Bass MIM.

It shows 3 of the basic sounds you can get from it, how to achieve them, and how they compare.

dead string haha, it sounds exactly like mine, change the string and the sound will be better, but i cant really afford to change string .. cost like 40+ bucks per string , fuck guitar players whose string cost at most 6 bucks

@Averilsings Yeah, also they were flatwounds which already give a pretty dead sound to begin with :)

Just need your opinion. I play more classic rock. A little blues and some country. What would be the best bass for me. The p bass or the j bass.

@bordinco90 Well, seeing as how the jazz bass can pretty closely emulate the tone of the p-bass and much more i would personally choose the jazz bass, especially because the jazz bass can give you an awesome thumpy deep tone for blues and a growly harsh sound for rock, also this video doesnt really do it any justice as i was using flatwounds and a rather bad interface, i'm going to fit my jazz bass with a new bridge and pickups and will do another tone demo soon, so look out for that :D
