Mike, a Viet Nam Vet speaks out...

WHERE: The Federal Building, E. 9th and Lakeside

WHY: It's been nearly ten years that we have endured, and the world
has endured, the U.S. "War on Terror." With 100's of thousands killed;
millions displaced, injured, raped, or tortured; and trillions of
dollars wasted on wars, it is time to rethink the violent military
strategy of our government. Now, with the announced death of Osama Bin
Laden, the embodiment of the pretext for the "war on terror," there
have been national calls to bring the troops home!

SAY WHAT? A message to our elected officials, that we want
the troops home;economic conversion from a war economy to a domestic
economy, for jobs, education, health, and infrastructure; and an end
to the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Columbia, and Libya.

WHO: Stand for Peace Rally is endorsed by these NE Ohio organizations:
All-African People's Revolutionary Party, American Friends Service
Committee, Cleveland Peace Action, Justice Ministry of the United Church of Christ, The Libertarian Party, New Black Panther Party, Northeast Ohio Anti-War
Coalition, People's Fightback Center,Stop Targeting Ohio's Poor, U.S.Out of Libya Coalition, Vets for Peace, Women Speak Out For Peace and Justice.
