  • its actually perfect in the back. they are 16x8's, with somewhere close to 3-4" of backspacing i cant remember off the top of my head. the rear tires are 245/50s and the fronts are 225/50s. plenty of room for both. i had 245/50s up front but they would barely rub. a small spacer would take care of that though.

  • thanks for the views and comments everyone. planning on going with a bigger cam, as well as dropped the nittos in favor of prostars with mt drag radials 275/60s. also did some major rear susp upgrades.

  • That's probably what I have in mine. Most of the parts I ended up having yo buy twice because of fitment issues and lack of fabrication skills. I think the next one I could easily do in half

  • thanks for the views. the wiring was actually the painless kit that integrated the engine wiring with the complete body wiring for an older GM car. to be blunt, it was not painless rewiring the entire car. if i were going to do it again i probably would have tried using a standalone harness.

the oil pan was changed from a truck to a cts-v, and that pan wasn't working with my mounts (BRP), so i changed to a GMPP musclecar oil pan. if you use the engine setback plates the cts-v fits good.

  • Forgot to put in the video, the best time (if you could call it that!) was my first ever pass down a track, and was done before I picked up 74rwhp on the dyno. Hoping to go back soon with a much better setup, both powerwise and suspension-wise.

  • I have been thinking of buying a set of old s10 wheels like yours how is the back spacing and fit of these wheels or did they need spacers ? One of these days I hope to do the same conversion to an 84 Cutlass, You have one cool ride !

  • Dude, my grandmother just gave me a 1980 malibu sedan....While i would have much rather had the 2 dr, it holds immense sentimental value within my family ranks....body is perfect, red leather is flawless, not a tear or scratch....

but engine, tranny, springs...etc needs to be gone...

in the end she will get a flat black paint...

ballpark me here, at least 10k?
