I have a 1960 Elna, which only sews forwards, backwards, and zig zag. You'll be fine!

I adored this - I love using pins too and don't wanna buy a snap fastener just yet.

My concern is that elastic around the leg! do you have any extra advice for sewing that?? What kind of elastic did you buy and how much did you end up using??
