Nick Coons defends capitalism and free markets at the networking event Politics on the Rocks (formerly the Republican Professionals) at the W Hotel in Scottsdale, AZ.
About the first 10 and last 20 seconds of the video were unfortunately not recorded. Here are the transcripts for those segment:
Introduction:
"Hello. Thank you for having me here today. My name is Nick Coons, and I'm a Libertarian running for the US Congress in district 5, a seat currently held by Harry Mitchell. [Boos] So that's good enough, I don't even have to tell you why I'm running, is that right? Just a little about myself. I was born and raised here in Arizona, and have lived here my whole life. I've been married to my wonderful wife for eight years, who's here taking pictures of me. I started my own business 12 years, and have been operating and building it ever since..."
Closing:
"...That is the essence of free markets and competitive capitalism. I know, it's crazy, letting people make their own decisions about how to live their lives. And that's essentially why I'm running for Congress, because I want to reduce the role of government in our everyday lives [Cheers}. For more 'crazy' ideas about liberty and individual rights, you can visit my campaign website and nickcoonsforcongress.com. I also co-host the Libertarian Solution Radio Program which airs live on Thursdays at 8pm on 1100 KFNX, is available as a podcast, and is archived on our website at libertariansolution.com. I invite all of you to tune in. Thank you!"

If you add socialist elements, you no longer have capitalism. It's the socialist elements, not the capitalism, that have caused economic chaos.
I'm in the process of writing an article to explain this in more detail, so I'll post a link once that's ready.

"Completely" capitalist? A system is either capitalist or it's not, sort of like someone being pregnant. You can't have "partial" pregnancy.
Where has it been done? In the 19th century US, we sort of approximated something like capitalism, but never in history has capitalism been implemented. If you believe otherwise, please provide an example, along with how you're defining capitalism. I want to make sure we're on the same page.

Aaah..you want a COMPLETELY capiltalist society.
It's been done, and it was/is failing. I am perfectly fine with capiltalism, but it needs socialist elements...to be a passing system

Capitalism is an untried system, and therefore cannot be a failed system. Something has to be tried before it can fail.
