Reduce global malnutrition with a low cost and simple way of growing food.

This foolproof method of gardening is very similar to the excellent Earthbox® method.

Like the Earthbox system, Global Buckets:
1) uses 80% less water than traditional gardens
2) Reduces weeds by 100%
3) Takes very little time or effort.

Unlike the Earthbox® method, Global Buckets uses locally sourced free or low cost materials, ideal for developing nations.

  • Don't give up. I tried to get in touch via the above site and because I am in China I couldn't read how to sign up and send you a message. Rice sacks are common and porous and could be used to contain soil until they break down, cloth would be the same, maybe a year. A container which is used to hand wash clothing is also available and common. I've started seedlings this way. Straws and water hose and plastic water bottles could be used. Please get in touch.

  • Hi i love what you are trying to do. I went to your website and seen what you tried to do with planting with newspapers. I think I have the answer for you, try using compost tea. it should make the difference, specially with your automatic watering system setup you have created.

  • I love you.

  • I am SO impressed with you two! you have taught this country girl how to grow more in town...so impressed! Please update with the new gravity feed vid and i will convince the hubby we are going it differnt next year! Oh, the music was very cool!
