We played this at my brother in law's funeral this past March..he was fishing the day before he died, 2 days after his 27th birthday. It was his favorite thing besides family. Miss you Bubby and I truly do wish you were still here, on a riverbank.

@barrelbabe06 I must know you if you were at Coy's funeral! I guess I don't know you by this name! Do you know who I am? There's a site on facebook, if you haven't seen it! Missing Coy Adkins!
I'd like to dedicate this song to my nephew Coy Lee Adkins, who died of unknown causes, for no reason at all, at the age of 19. This song was played at his funeral this last August and there was not a dry eye in the church. If Coy could have written a song, this would have been it! We miss you sooo much Coy, and you'll always be on the riverbank, with all of us, in our hearts and memories!! Rest in Peace Coy, and keep pullin in the big ones!!

This song was played at one of my bestfriends funerals... He was 14. He died in a car wreck along with his 15 year old friend. This song reminds me so much of him.. While I cry from listening to this song.. I think of how Evan made everyone happy. It was never a boring day in 6th period, thanks to Evan. I miss him so much! Rest In Peace & Always look down on me & help me get stronger everyday! I love you Jonathon Evan Carpenter... 1-21-1997_5-8-2011
