  • Don't ever run a train horn at over 150 psi! You WILL damage the diaphragms! Increasing the pressure beyond 150 will NOT make it louder. To make it louder you need to increase the size of the air tubing. K5LAs should be ran at around 145 psi with a 1/2 inch air line.

  • @Thewoog34 we knew that, the hose is a 3/8, we figured that if we increase the pressure, we can get more air flowing threw the hose and when it reaches the manifold, psi drops down to a safe level and what we were hoping enough air to each horns, but in real life, didn't sound like all 5 bells sounded, the first test, we had 150psi and only 2 bells sounded. when i get my K5, in using a 150psi compressor with either 1/2 or 5/8inch airlines.
