Glynn Christian takes us on a cultural and culinary tour of Australia in which he reveals how this multi-ethnic country has developed into a foodies paradise.
Glynn introduces us to some delicious regional Australian recipes as he travels round areas of the country renowned for fine foods. During his journey, he takes a trip to King Island, a small island off the coast of Tasmania, which boasts award winning cheese, dines out on a camel whilst experiencing a night-time outback safari at Alice Springs and visits Melbourne where stalls sell everything imaginable from purple carrots to black chickens.
For the wine connoisseurs, Glynn tastes his way around the annual wine festival of Margaret River, passes through the worlds only wetlands winery nature reserve in Riverland and calls in at a vineyard in Ballarat where the wines are as stunning as the views.
An exploration of the great diversity of culinary traditions that this beautiful and vibrant country has to offer.
