GHB: The Date Rape Drug

This is a public service announcement Hal and I made, sometime around 1999, for class. I've had it on VHS since then but, before I shot footage, I used my new equipment to convert old vids to digital. Look for part two, coming soon.

Okay, kiddies, here's the deal: I made this vid for a project in high school (like 10 years ago). I posted it for my friends to laugh at (yes, I know GHB is no laughing matter) how we looked and how we've changed. I'm sorry if it offends anyone, victim or predator. But, seriously, relax.

Interesting video. I think the penalties for using GHB and other drugs like this. Should carry a 30 year prison sentence for sale. 10 year for using it on someone.  Molesters and others use this drug. Rape is common with this type of Drug. I also recommend Castration for three time losers. This is serious. It's violence. I take no pity on the predators that use this type of nonsense on people.

I recommend class action lawsuits for companies that sell this type of drug.

I used GBL (which converts to GHB in the brain quickly) when it was legal in the early 1990's. It was prescribed to me for sleep. It was amazing. Years I was legally prescribed Xyrem (GHB). That had a different formulation. Way different and awful. It cannot be mixed with a lot of other drugs (it can easily kill you). My understanding is when used alone you just have to sleep it off.

I like GHB for personal use but I generally do it at home because it's easy to take too much. I measure out my doses exactly but when you're drunk off that stuff you tend to forget how careful you have to be with dosing and often end up passing out on my bed for a few hours. Wouldn't mess around too much at bars or clubs. As for date-rape, I think alcohol is way more suitable for date-rapists than GHB ever could be... not that I'd approve of behaviour like that.

Sounds like someone needs to research more. I slipped GHB and was in and out of consiousness. I was lucky to know that I was going to pass out. I was saved by my friend, the bouncers and a paramedic. I agree that there are a lot of really bad ppl out there. GHB kills and is highly addictive. I recognise what GHB is, what it does and how bad it is. Do you?
