I went to Guy Fawkes Night in Victoria Park in London with some friends. The fireworks were awesome and we all had a great time. Enjoy!

Much thanks to my new friend Eloise for providing a fantastic explanation of the celebration.

  • Guy Fawkes was a man who could no longer stand the acts of inhumanity the leaders of the country were doing to the roman catholics at the time. Therefore he took it upon himself to stand up to these leaders of the country by destroying the sybol of the country's evil and corruption. We should not celebrate the capture of Guy Fawkes but celebrate the fact that someone had the bravery to stand up to these people.

  • Being british myself, I still wish he had succeded

  • @Bishop705 he was a piece of shit, fuck him and everyone who worships him

  • @TheQueenBeatle only a totalitarian could think like you

  • He was hanged, not burned. he was a hero, not a villain. he stood up against injustice to fight for what was right. "All that is necessary for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing". Guy Fawkes attempted in what needed to be done to return justice to its people,AND its government.

  • @TheTravelfool We celebrate both...
