too many rescources are being dropped from the shuttle this will result in too much money each launc and if tourists are allowed to go in it they will have to pay an extereme amount of money so the idea is good but the execution is the problem

Why don't you use the standard measuring units? You know, only three countries in the world use the imperial system. Ain't nobody got time fo transferin' units!

The physics are all off. The FIRST stage saves you the weight and cost if it is reusable. The space shuttle weighed 100 tons, but only put 30 of it into space. Those wings and landing gear are just lost payload.

A single stage spaceplane is dragging too much stuff into orbit for the sake of what? A lot of dead weight. The math says a spaceplane can only be 10% payload.

No, the math says a reuseable first stage (in this case an airplane) is the best way to get the costs down.

Actually the carbon and other cured carbon components going into this aircraft are plenty strong enough to have the capability of flight. Also to those people wondering this shows one example of payload. Do research on the space x prize with space ship one and virgin t top it is the same concept for safer more useful private space exploration. And for the runway comments youre wrong it does not need a special runway to be built .

Why not a reusable spaceplane instead of a multistage rocket?
