He achieved detente with the Soviet Union and a relationship with China. He established the EPA and nearly got universal health care for Americans. He kept his promise to get you out of Vietnam, a war he did not start. He should be forgiven for his mistakes with Watergate. Those mistakes don't even come close to being as crooked as those made by Obama's lies about false HOPE and Bush's getting you in an illegal war and supporting torture.

@madmen269 Let me make it clear, that for one i am a Canadian not an American, and if i where one i would vote Democrat for most elections, my comment was to say that Nixon was the best Republican President in the last 40 years compared to all the other Republican leaders after him. His foreign policies where brilliant and he was the first President to start bringing and end to the Trumen doctrine policies of trying to disrupt Soviet Satellite states, which was costly and unrealistic.

Godzilla52, this is very true. Nixon was NOT a crook. He was set up. The biggest set up in all of modern history was called Watergate. I want the the kids, high school and college kids to know this. He was extremely intelligent even "to smart" and many feared him for it. But he was as honest as the day is long, even though the people who set him up own most all media outlets in the US and will riddle your mind with lies.Nixon loved America and the Constitution and the middle class
