America is the land of the free, so if the majority of America is of some Christian denomination, and you're dumb ass isn't being persecuted, but being allowed to speak about Christians so freely, then you're wrong. Are you saying drink regular drinks or alcohol? So it's selfish to have the basics of survival? That isn't selfish. I wouldn't say being one with the universe is necessarily selfish either. Foolish yes, selfish no.

A real non selfish person would not drink, eat, clothes etc...

If you do all those things you are selfish because you do so you can survive.

However religion represents a selfish pursuit of ours.
