Erie R. Co. v. Tompkins, 304 U.S. 64 (1938) is Professor Arthur Miller's favorite case. Every year, his students get together and puts on a little performance for him about Erie in class. Everyone drinks Miller (I was a rebel and drank Asahi) and has a grand ol' time. This is a recording of Erie day 2009 on Monday, October 19. My camera ran out of memory during the performance, but afterward, Prof. Miller was presented with a gift of a bottle of wine as well as a lamp crafted from Tompkin's arm. He also ate one of my cookies.
