Extreme Makeover: Home Edition w/ Ty Pennington, Media Talk

The Tate Family talks with Tampa Bay's Media Talk host Janet sherer about their reaction to the 3,400-square-foot Spanish Eclectic home built on Davis Island for the family by "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (EMHE), ABC's hit reality television show. John Manrique and Tim Oak, both of home-builder WCI Communities, talk about the behind-the-scenes activity and contruction of The Tate Family's new house. Kerri Cavanaugh, an ABC producer, chimes in on EMHE's episode airing Sunday, March 4, 2007, featuring The Tate Family, and Chris Philips of City of Tampa Television reports on the 15-minute program he produced chronicling the event from demolition to unveiling.

My parent's lost their home back when I was 4 years old and our family lost almost everything due to the house burning down with four other homes in our cuddlesack at Greenwich, CT. A smoker had thrown their cigarette that was still lit up in bushes and the ground and fields were so dry that the fire was the cause of the loss of five homes, tis very sad and so I'm soooo happy that this family in Tampa Bay were helped!!! It's very lovey!!!!

yes i agree! they like to tear down still good houses so they can build mansions w/ all the bells and whistles that are totally over the top and uneccessary. its really bad taste when a lot of people dont even have a home. really doesnt sit with me very well.
