I am very glad that Japan is taking more of a role in her defense. Even though the United States provides a portion of Japan's defense by treaty. It is obvious that the US defense infrastructure, weapon systems and personnel are being strained to the breaking point.

China, N. Korea and Russia all pose a serious threat to the region and Japan is a maritime nation that positively relies upon keeping the sea-lanes of communication open.
