  • The water is turned all the way on and the faucet is new.

  • @cooldog60 Not sure about this one, sounds like you may need a real plumber....

  • My problem is I turn the water off to replace the counter top. When I turned the water back on there was cold water but no hot water. I took the supply line off the faucet and ran water in a bucked lots of pressure So I replaced the faucet and still no hot water just cold.

  • @cooldog60 Did you make sure to turn the hot water all the way back on? I know it sounds silly but it happens sometimes. I cant think of why no hot water would be coming if it is turned on unless there was something broken in the faucet.

  • Just watched your video. My water lines were rusted on and I had to get a $20 home depot specialty tool that worked wonders - a Faucet and Sink Installer by Ridgid. (The plastic flexed about a quarter turn before the water line nut gave a nice loud *bang*.)

However, I just wanted to comment on Part 1 - you left the garbage disposal plugged in. Since water is involved, I would have recommended you flip off the breaker just in case.

  • @verbosity53531 You are completely correct about that, not to mention the danger if a part or tool was dropped into the sink and the switch was somewhere easily bumped, so yes, always good advice to unplug the disposal or flip the breaker due to electricity concerns. Thanks for catching that, and for the comment.
