It doesn´t really sound like all mexican people, it sounds the way a "cholo" speaks (a gang man in Mexico) maybe you met a mexican neighbor or employee. In Mexico there are many ways of speaking spanish. There are North accents, Central and South accents and it´s hard to define a Mexican Spanish because of the geography of Mexico and variety of etnic groups, the same thing happens in USA with English Language.
