Please keep in mind that I don't pretend to be tech-savvy; ergo, I'm reviewing this product (Wacom intuos4 small) from the stand point of a normal person, and not from a tech guru like Chris Pirillo or Leo Laporte.

(Quick side note: I wasn't trying to sound like Fred. I needed to make this video under 2 minutes as to not bore the hell out of everyone who watches this with my retarded sounding voice.)

Here is some info you might actually find useful regarding the small Wacom Intuos4:

The small Intuos4 pen tablet is perfect for limited desktop areas or for those who want a highly portable, professional level tablet that fits comfortably in a laptop bag. To achieve its compact size, the small size has two fewer ExpressKeys than all of the other sizes of Intuos4 pen tablets, and no illuminated displays. Instead of the illuminated displays, a show settings ExpressKey function provides an on-screen, pop-up display showing the ExpressKey configuration.

You can set up your ExpressKeys to activate your own unique, time-saving shortcuts and modifiers in each of your applications.

The finger-sensitive Touch Ring provides intuitive control of scrolling, zooming, brush size, canvas rotation or layer selection. A central toggle button allows you to control up to four different functions in each application.

With 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity, Intuos4 gives you the creative power to dynamically adjust exposure, brush size, line weight, opacity, and more by simply adjusting how hard you press the pen to the tablet.

The innovative, ambidextrous design of Intuos4 allows you to maximize the productivity of both your hands. Having the ExpressKeys and Touch Ring on the same side of the tablet ensures that they are perfectly positioned for use with the hand that is not holding the pen.

Inside the box:

Intuos4 pen tablet
Intuos4 Grip Pen
Intuos4 mouse
Pen stand
Ten replacement nibs (five standard nibs, one flex nib, one stroke nib, and three hard felt nibs)
Nib extractor
2.5m USB cable
Quick Start Guide
Installation CD (includes tablet driver software and electronic user manual)

System Requirements:

Windows XP (SP2+), Windows Vista, Mac OS X 10.4.8+. Note: Also requires color display, powered USB port, CD/DVD drive, and broadband Internet connection to download bundled software.

  • @quackB Hey, quackB! Hope all is well. Sorry I didn't respond to your message, but the last couple of months have been pretty hectic. Just wanted to say that I really appreciate your take on my video, and I actually like your perspective on this—you do have a good point; so I'll think about it and make adjustments so that my videos are both entertaining and has "some interesting information!" Take care, quackB! c:
