  • Went here a few months back.. loved it! Is that cat at 3:43 called Dave? hes one of the roaming cats, what a cutie =]

  • I don't know his/ her name (always assumed s/he was a girl!), but yes, you're right, s/he is one of the 'roaming' cats.

  • Hey :)

Did they offer you accomodation on the farm or you live nearby so that you could come every day?

I'd love to go there for w/e but getting a private accomodation is kinda putting me off :(

  • Hi,

When I was there, I came in each day. As I don't live far away from the farm, I didn't have to ask about accommodation. Although some staff live on-site, I'm not sure if they would be accommodate you - you'll have to ask! The other choices are to get a hotel or B&B room nearby during your w/e - as it happens there is a B&B in the same road as the farm, I'll put a link in the description!

  • Did that 2 week old kitten survive??

  • I think it was still alive when I finished my work experience there. I don't currently know how it's doing, but I know it would have received the best posible care and will have probably been successfully rehomed by now!

  • @GEO900RGE Ohh right, you're not misguided, you're just a dickwad. My mistake! What's more, apparently being dumped is an imperfection, regardless of health, age or behaviour! Go troll somewhere else - you're not worth wasting words on.

  • @GEO900RGE Funny you should say that, considering how many rescue animals I've owned over the years, and how happy they are. I volunteer at FOAL Farm and it is hugely rewarding - what's more, for a pet to spend more than a few months here is very rare, and usually means they will live onsite with an extended family, warm beds, a 3 acre garden and 3 meals a day. Maybe you should do a little research next time. I hope no creature is ever at your mercy. :)

  • One of our dogs came from there, they do a great job. : )

It's a good job theres people like that about.

  • Love this! Got my little kittens from foal farm and they are on this video when they were really little! Two of the little black and white fluffy ones! So cute!!!!!

  • Thank you very much! I'll try to ask them first. If they aren't able to accomodate volunteers, I'll have to go for the bed and breakfast even if it would mean having to save up first :-) But it looks it would be worth it, I totally fell in love with the idea of doing some w/e on the farm :-)
