Over the weekend holiday I took my kayak down part of the Buffalo Bayou with a coworker and some of his friends. We didn't see any alligators, but we did see a snake and a huge frog (though neither were captured on video).
I started at San Felipe and went upstream. I got to those rapids and tried to paddle through, but that was not happening and I almost lost my yak. I didn't know at the time that those steps were the park grounds. I thought that was someones private property
@aggieforlife13 On this trip, we started at Gessner and exited at Briar Bend Park. I think there is a sign visible from the water that labels where Briar Bend's exit point is, but it's definitely easier if you bring along a waterproof GPS to check your location occasionally.

@aggieforlife13 The rapids near the very end of the video are where the bayou meets Briarbend Park (near Voss & Westheimer)
