Of course. High level players turn the Blood off, which disables Fatalities, so that the gameplay is smoother with less lag. Look at the kilnkilagn vs krutch1337 vids for some Fatalities.

Story Mode was poorly written and poorly acted, yes. The last good story was Deception. MKA and MKvDC are nothing but insatiable bloodlust and warriors out of control and needing to FIGHT. There is no story to MKA or MKvDC. They're nothing but free-for-alls, everyone against everyone, CHAOS!

AS for online, there's always someone better, someone worse. Once you find a decent player, just add them to your friend's list to build a base of players to have good games with. Too late for that tho.

I agree, it is good but the Story mode was pathetic and I tried to play online 18 times and EVERY single time the opponent quit because he was losing.

I know that isn't the games fault (the online thing) but it was annoying. The gameplay is pretty fun, not as good as Deception or Armageddon but it's good.
