This video shows the vastness of the Soviet Union, from its western borders with Poland to the far eastern ports, close to Japan. If the Soviet Union is ever attacked by an enemy, they have enormous amounts of space to trade for time that they can use defeat their enemies. General Winter is ever their ally. We also demonstrate the intelligence capabilities of Hearts of Iron 3, where you can easily send spies to other countries to both get information on them, as well as the capabilities of creating havoc.

Hearts of Iron III is now the Beta stage of development. These last months the team has been stabilizing the foundations of the AI, tightening up the rules and mechanics of the game, along with implementing brand new artwork and interface features.

The third instalment in the critically acclaimed World War II strategy series, Hearts of Iron III will feature a plethora of brand new features to satisfy veteran and novice players alike, including a huge game map with more than 14,000 land and sea provinces.

  • @mage4un a whole lot of fun looking to the western powers :D they still love it don't they? Netherlands invented it, USA loved to put ethnic Japanese in camps, Russia killed more in camps then the war did, England still has camps in annexed Northern Ireland, but long love freedom! long live truth and equality though I am 100% sure the allies give us the opposite of this!

  • turkey is in the game but i'm not sure what the political system is....it will be historically accurate for the time so if it was a republic in 1939 then in the game it will be too.

  • @WootCanada There was only 1 party allowed in Turkey between 1923 and 1946. Kinda nationalist-dictatorship. Government was stronger than the current one though..

  • One thing about this game is it's accurate...playing as a major faction like Germany, America, or any other countries in the war, you're gonna start out with bombers and infantry and tons of stuff to build. But let's say you play as like south Arabia, you'll get militia, armored cars, garrison troops, and maybe a few other things. On the air force, you get a naval bomber, and on naval, transports, and that's it. They didn't really balance the game, but that's good, bc they made it more realisti

  • @numbersss101 and i do, they can go back to their cod, im going to play ruse, command and conquer, civilizations and hearts of iron because its actually challenging

  • What about people who agree with Glenn Beck? Do they belong in concentration camps too?

  • @mage4un depends on who you're putting in the concentration camp. LOL. I think putting glenn beck in a concentration camp would be awsome!

  • NOO,you conquerd my homeland,lithuania

  • @mage4un You think that creating A-bombs an trowing at civilians is fun ?

  • Is the game leveled out? What I mean is, would Poland start out getting invaded by three countries and being outnumbered 2:1?

  • @mage4un I did that all the time with facist USA lol...... , in real life , I would kill myself for that :P
