近鉄内部線・八王子線は軌間762 mmのナローゲージで運行されています。
この日永駅から内部に行く内部線、八王子に行く八王子線に分岐します。
"Kintetsu Hinaga station" is a turning point of Utsube Line and Hachiouji Line.
Utsube Line and Hachiouji Line are operated with a narrow gauge of 762mm.
The gauge of 762mm is unusual in Japan.

  • Points are spring loaded in this instance. The wheel flanges force the blades over for trains leaving station and they spring back to the normal position after the train has passed through

  • Nice colored train.

  • Cool video.... but it was a shock as the points were not set while the second train was approaching the points...... Can you please explain to me how the switching of points work...........

  • Wow! An example of Life Immitating Art: it looks like a full sized copy of a previously existing model train. Love it!

  • Гуд!

  • Very nice!!!!!

  • Very colourful trains - very enjoyable to watch too. I noticed the points were pushed into position by the train wheels themselves, I was expecting them to be changed by a compressed air cylinder or similar.

I find it fascinating to have an insight into other countries ways of doing things.

Great video - short and sweet

    Hello from England :-)
