Points are spring loaded in this instance. The wheel flanges force the blades over for trains leaving station and they spring back to the normal position after the train has passed through

Very colourful trains - very enjoyable to watch too. I noticed the points were pushed into position by the train wheels themselves, I was expecting them to be changed by a compressed air cylinder or similar.

I find it fascinating to have an insight into other countries ways of doing things.
