Hi, I have just bought a Roland X8. Its a little dark as the sun is just about to rise, I play the Chopin inspired Manilow song Could it be Magic and also a little bit of Carly Simon, Nobody does it better from the James Bond Film, These are just test's for me to see what the sound settings are like, They may also help you decide if you want the X8, I know I did look here on Youtube for X8 players before I purchased this one, I hope you like it, Regards Brendan

  • This doesn't have external speakers, correct?

  • @ROARfreak1 Correct. You use seperate speakers or headphones.

  • Wich piano is that, so brilhant? LIked that! Is it preset or some SRX board? If so, with SRX?

  • @fnonaka , hi. Its a preset patch. Probably ultimate grand. Thanks

  • @BrendanGreaves111 you are using a pedal right?

  • @Pablotercero90 Yes I am

  • Hmmm. Well deduced. So just to confirm. The newer model of the x8 called the g8 that's cost roland thousands to develop ended up being better.

    Brilliant. Thanks for your input.

  • Nothing beats a real piano...but if you don't have a real one nothing beats a Roland.

  • Why do you fight over roland and yamaha lol? Tools at this level and this price range, are the same only desinged to fit individuals more. So some like yamaha more some roland (:

  • this keyboard use rick jordan form scooter righ?

  • Thumbs up if you prefer Yamaha CP series.

  • The Fantom X piano sound still works quite well. She was the best in 2003 and still makes heads turn!

  • @BrendanGreaves111 See just shows hard work does pay off in making better products. Lol.

  • @BrendanGreaves111 i can tell, there is a big difference between using a pedal and not using one, it sounds way better with the pedal, nice playing!!!!
