@dereileak try doing that when a child or a car jumps out in front of you. you will hit the brake as hard as you can, any technique of pumping the brake will go out the window. fact

Threshold braking would've reduced the slipping and blocking effect, the car wouldn't have spun off. It's hard to not block your wheels without ABS, especially in lighter cars, but it isn't impossible to drive without ABS. I've noticed in an emergency braking situation it's hard to release the brakes to find the optimal braking point, but in some situations it's even better than ABS.

Nice comments JzAeroo. You are of course completely correct. Most drivers will always stop quicker with ABS, and more importantly still retain the ability to steer the car in an emergency situation. However a small percentage of drivers with advanced skills will be able to "cadance" brake and still stop
