... you drive it like a manual LIFT YOUR FOOT OFF THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL when it shifts or you start it. otherwise it will hesitate and shift slowly as it will be forced to CUT power to safely shift gears. resulting in jerkiness.

So let me get this straight, a small uncomfortable $17,000 mini plastic toy with not so great fuel economy, small space, lot's of noise, uncomfortable rides, and on top of that, it REQUIRES premium fuel? I would rather get the Fiat 500.

@Jeffredo729 i'd def buy the Smart instead of the Lancer. 33/41 mpg for 17k is amazingly cheap!
